In previous projects, I messed around with perspective through the use of the blend tool in Illustrator, and this time I wanted to try it without utilizing the blend tool and make it very simple. With this I utilized the one point perspective grid in Illustrator to create myself some guides that I could generally follow to create this simple design.
The design plays with perspective of the converging lines, but also the opacity and size of the dots as they all converge to the center. It is really quite simple and I messed around with the use of color, but it didn't have the impact of the greyscale look. Then adding some film grain to the design draws it together so the black isn't as empty as just a pitch black rectangle would be.
