The last project I did was the first time I messed around with After Effects, and I'm still not that comfortable with the program, but wanted to do some more animation work. So again I followed along with some tutorials and tweaked some things and ended up with this project. 

Having this singing swirl of endless color actually started out with a bunch of lines coming at the camera, as if you were in a Star Wars movie traveling into hyper space utilizing the star burst and light burst effects along. Having those lines, I changed some colors and effects to have almost this neon look to it with a nice blue/purple color scheme. The next step in this process is making it twirl in the spiral, to make this easier on the eye I used the flo motion effect to make it seem like the lines were coming from the direct center instead of all over the screen, and then add the twirl effect in a new composition to make it spiral around. In this step I also added some more contrast with curves and then also some glow. The last step was making a new composition with the previous step and making the layer 3D and moving the camera around along with the swirl to get it at this off angle and then use depth of field to blur some areas out.
