I saw an ad for animating things in Photoshop using their timeline feature. Now I haven't done any motion stuff in Premiere or After Effects let alone Photoshop, so I figured I would give it a try. This was also the time of year where all the stores are going into full Halloween mode and stocking everything for that day, and that's where this concept of a loading symbol in black and orange came from.
Overall, this was pretty simple for not doing it at all before. Basically each circle is its own smart object with its own gradient stroke and I could individually transform them in the timeline to have them rotate. While messing around, I got the two inner circles lining up in a way where it was like the inner circle was driving the circle around it to make it spin, like a gear reduction box. I thought it looked cool, so I had it follow that idea for all of the circles to have this cool loading circle.
