This was made during a pivotal point in the Green Bay Packer's season, where they were 4-5-1. I was now getting more familiar with how Illustrator works and all of the things possible with it, and I wanted to make this layered paper effect with the Packer's logo. Overall this wasn't too hard to do. The only thing that got a little tricky in my head were making sure the layers were lined up in the right way.
Basically this was made by just offsetting the path of the Packer's G either inwards or outwards and cutting it out of an appropriately sized square to get this layering. Next was adding a paper texture to the layers along with highlights and shadows using the drop shadow effects.
