I have been doing a lot of work in Illustrator and Photoshop, and I wanted to branch out a little more and get into After Effects. Upon opening it I was super overwhelmed and watched some tutorials and followed along with some projects and I ended up with this.
This is just a bunch of ellipses rotating in out of the blue, in this case pink, and then once they are full circles they fade back into pink. They all fade in/out at random points and speeds depending on how far they are from the center. Making this utilized a bunch of slider control expressions and then an angle control expression and smart groupings of ellipses. Then it was just rendering it out and making a quality video and gif.
